Scoring Examples

In a 3 Player Game, with Players, A, B, and C, during the SCORING PHASE:

Player A has Sun Cats of,  3 House Cats, 2 matched sets of Twins A and C (4 Cards),  2 un-matched Twin B and G, 3 Fibonacci Cats, 3 Chorus Cats, plus the Moon Cats of 1 Recall Cat, 1 Ninja Cat, and 1 Moon Queen.

  • 3 House Cats at 3 points each is 9 points (running total is 9)
  • 2 matched sets of Twins A & C are 8 points each for 16 points (running total is now 25)
  • 2 unmatched Twin B & G are 2 points each for 4 points (running total is now 29)
  • 3 Fibonacci Cats are 9 points (running total is now 38)
  • 3 Chorus Cats are worth 0 points (running total is now 38)
  • 1 Recall Cat (Moon Cat) is worth 0 points (running total is now 38)
  • 1 Ninja Cat (Moon Cat) is worth 0 points (running total is now 38)
  • 1 Moon Queen (Moon Cat) is worth 2 points per moon cat (and there are 3 Moon Cats) so the Moon Queen is worth 6 points (running total is now 44)

Player A scores 44 points.

Player B has Sun Cats of, 2 House Cats, 3 matched sets of Twins B (using a Copy Cat) & D (4 Cards), 0 Fibonacci Cats, 5 Chorus Cats, plus the Moon Cats of 1 Ninja Cat, 1 Copy Cat, and 1 Moon King.

  • 2 House Cats at 3 points each is 6 points (running total is 6)
  • 2 matched sets of Twins B & D are 8 points each for 16 points (running total is now 22)
  • 5 Chorus Cats are worth 25 points (running total is now 47!)
  • 1 Ninja Cat (Moon Cat) is worth 0 points (running total is now 47)
  • 1 Copy Cat (Moon Cat) is worth 0 points (already scored as a Twin B!) (running total is now 47)
  • 1 Moon King (Moon Cat) is worth 2 points per moon cat (and there are 3 Moon Cats) so the Moon King is worth 6 points (running total is now 53)

Player B scores 53 points.

Player C has Sun Cats of, 3 House Cats, 3 matched sets of Twins E, F & H (6 Cards), 0 unmatched Twins, 2 Fibonacci Cats, 1 Chorus Cat, plus the Moon Cats of 1 Precious Cat, 1 Recall Cat, 1 Cat of Cthulhu.

  • 3 House Cats at 3 points each is 9 points (running total is 9)
  • 3 matched sets of Twins E & F & H are 8 points each for 24 points (running total is now 33)
  • 2 Fibonacci Cats is worth 4 points (running total is now 37)
  • 1 Chorus Cat is worth 0 points (running total is now 37)
  • 1 Precious Cat (Moon Cat) is worth 9 points (running total is now 46)
  • 1 Recall Cat (Moon Cat) is worth 0 points (running total is now 46)
  • 1 Cat of Cthulhu (Moon Cat) is worth 0 points (running total is now 46)

Player C scores 46 points.

In the above 3 Player game, Player B wins with a score of 53 points!
